The Southern Police Institute in Louisville will host an 80-hour Homicide Investigation course Jan. 4-Jan 15, 2027, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The course is designed to learn to properly investigate all death cases – from natural and accidental to homicidal – through this intensive, hands-on course. Work in small teams examining crime scenes, forensic evidence, and case preparation using real investigative scenarios. Tuition for this KLEC-certified course is $1,627.
